Euromed Srl, the Petrone Group Society distributing in Italy Bactiguard Infection Protection Foley Catheters, attended the IBAT congress on bacterial infections, in Naples, at the end of January 2009. This congress has been an important chance for Euromed/Petrone Group to meet scientists and researchers operating in the fields of infective diseases and chemiotherapy. The IBAT event was attended by a number of European microbiologists and infectivologist, among which one of the best known was prof. Javier Garau - Hospital Universitari Mutua de Terrassa, Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, who presented for Euromed a relation named "Prevention of catheter associated urinary tract infection" .
